About the Show:
Four old friends meet at a cabin in the woods and are forced to face that they've grown up and apart; eventually they literally summon the ghosts of their past selves in order to build a future.

  • Rita Castagna (Selina) she/her

    Rita Castagna is an actor, musician, and comedian from Philadelphia. Credits include Murder Ballad (Prima, Lancaster), Bonnie & Clyde (11th Hour, Philly), Coat of Many Colors: The Music of Dolly Parton (American Pops Orchestra, DC), & Khan!!! The Musical!!! (Philly Fringe). Rita is a recent NYC transplant and is looking forward to performing, exploring, and composting in Brooklyn.

  • Ceara Ledwith (Caroline)

    Ceara Ledwith is a NYC actress/singer whose origin story began in the green mountains of Vermont. She is thrilled to be playing Caroline in this production of This Old Haunt.   • Brittany Martz (Hetty)

    Brittany Martz is a theatre artist from the Washington DC area. An alumna of George Mason University, she has used her psychology degree not only as a performer, but also to start her own LGBTQ+ friendly ADHD coaching practice. Selected on stage performance credits include Into the Woods, 45 Plays for 45 Presidents, Much Ado About Nothing (Nextstop Theatre Company), Tiny Tim's Christmas Carol (Adventure Theatre), and The Hero of Everything (InterAct Story Theatre). She has also appeared in numerous commercials, small films, and web series. When she's not on stage, you can find her working with and spreading awareness for her ADHD community.

  • Kayla Zanakis (Penelope)

    Kayla is an actor, activist, producer, and writer. She loves to create and tell stories surrounding mixed communities, environmental activism, and surrealist worlds.

    During Kayla's time at NYU, she trained at the Meisner Studio and worked with Slava Dolgachev, the Artistic Director of the Moscow Arts Theater, on a production featuring Chekhov's iconic works, with Kayla playing Masha in Three Sisters. She also created a three-tier activism organization called Artists in Action, dedicated to giving back to the community and supporting domestic and international needs. Kayla trained at Stonestreet Studios for Film and Television.

    Most recently, Kayla created, produced, co-directed, acted, and was the head writer for OneIronaut, with the Outer Loop Theater Experience. OneIronaut was a 24-hour immersive, international, interactive cyber-stage experience. Kayla led over 60 artists over the production period.

    When not on camera or onstage, this native from Miami can be seen diving and exploring shipwrecks off the coast, along with painting portraits of her closest friends and speaking Spanglish with her family.

  • Rebecca Wahls (she/her)

    Director

    Rebecca directs theatre, new media, and film. Originally from Williamsburg, VA, Rebecca is currently based in Washington, DC and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, PA where she is pursuing her MFA in Directing as a John Wells Directing Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University. Rebecca founded the non-profit theatre Who What Where Theater Collective, where she produced and directed two world premiere plays: Spills by Ruthie Rado and We Found the Wild Things by Andrew Reid. She also directed Monumental Theatre Company’s 4-time Helen Hayes Award nominated production of Pippin and worked as Artistic Coordinator for Studio Theatre in Washington, DC, where she led casting efforts, produced the Annual Benefit, and participated in literary committee activities. Rebecca’s explorations in new media storytelling begin in 2018 with Midnight Tracks, an audio play by Zachary Wilcox with music and lyrics by Justin Sumblin, which is available exclusively on Who What Where’s mobile app. In 2020, she and writing partner Rebecca Ballinger co-created the socially distant comedy web series Rebecca and Becca in Space. As a part of CMU’s annual Playground festival of independent student work, she created Memory Card with playwright Alec Seymour, a 20-minute fully live digital horror piece.     Maggie Marie is an NYC-based actor & lyricist. Maggie holds a BFA from George Mason University and is an alumni of the National Theatre Institute. Selected on-stage performance credits include Noises Off! (Walnut St. Theatre), The Club (Berkshire Theatre Group), and Small Town Icons (PEA Fest at The Tank). She has also participated in commercials and small films.   • SMJ (they/them)

    SMJ is an NYC-based, mixed-race, and Trans non-binary playwright, educator, and theatermaker originally from Mount Vernon, OH. SMJ’s work will be seen in 2022 at Carnegie Mellon University, Fort Salem Theater, The Tank, & Who What Where Theatre Collective. SMJ is currently a member of the 2022 Moxie Arts Incubator and a resident artist for The Artist Co-Op & The Citadel of Playwrights. Their work has been seen in various forms throughout the US and the UK. They’ve been a resident artist with the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, The Sappho Project, Art House Productions, Fresh Ground Pepper, The Workshop Theater, The Strides Collective, Access Theater, the HMBG Foundation, and Dragon’s Egg Studio. Additionally, SMJ was recently a semifinalist for the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s National Playwrights Conference and directed the first high school production of Fun Home for the Ohio Educational Theatre Association.     Annabelle is a composer, lyricist, playwright, music director, and pianist.   • Matthew Zwiebel (he/him)

    Musical Director

    Matthew is a composer, music director, and pianist. He’s a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in music composition and in-pursuit of a music education certification. Matthew recently performed as Rachmaninoff in Dave Malloy’s Preludes at CMU and is a part of the creative team for Spanglish Sh!t (Ars Nova ANT Fest NYC finalist selection), an in-development musical by Samora La Perdida and music by both Josiah Handelman and him. Matthew premiered two musicals of his own while at CMU, A World Not So Wide and This Side Up. He has extensive music directing experiences across Pennsylvania and also helped develop two sensory-friendly productions of James and the Giant Peach and Freckleface Strawberry with the F. M. Kirby Center of Wilkes-Barre. Matthew is the recipient of the Harry G. Archer Award for Composition and a Residency-In-Your-Room Fellowship. @matthewzwiebel

  • Julia “Juju” Nieto (she/her)

    Dramaturg

    Julia “Juju” Nieto is a Los Angeles-based, Mexican and Colombian American dramaturg, theatre-maker, and writer. She is a rising senior studying Dramaturgy and pursuing a minor in Literature and Culture at Carnegie Mellon University. This coming fall, she will be beginning her Masters of Entertainment and Industry Management through Heinz College at CMU. Juju's work as a dramaturg spans countless genres and forms. Credits include the Adrienne Kennedy Plays (Carnegie Mellon School of Drama) with director Peter Andersen, emerging playwright Malique Guinn's Nautical Erotica 2024, SMJ's No Mercy, Spanglish Sh!t (Ars Nova ANT Fest NYC finalist selection), an in-development musical by Samora La Perdida, a self-written and produced play entitled White Girl Anthem (CMU Playground 2020), and lead dramaturg on Center Theatre Group's Community Stories Series in 2020 and 2021. She is the head of TEDxCMU's Salon, Pika Buggy's Head Driver, and was also a part of the Second Cohort of the BIPOC's Critics Lab developed by Jose Solís through the Kennedy Center. Juju is thrilled to be working on this old haunt and would like to thank the entire haunt team, her family, friends, and roommates for all of their support.
