About the Show:
When NYC actor Matthew Clemetson debuted in Fort Salem Theater's acclaimed 2022 production of "Bright Star," local media outlets boasted that he "owns the stage,” and "left the audience in stunned silence." Matthew later returned in "I Love You Because," for another celebrated performance. This Valentine's Day, he's back with another triumphant return for just one-night only!

Celebrated nationwide for his dynamic portrayal of Jack Kelley in "Newsies," Clemetson has earned accolades in venues spanning from New Hampshire to Milwaukee to St. Louis. A graduate of the American Musical Dramatic Academy's Acting and Voice Conservatory in NYC, Clemetson shared the stage with American Idol and "The Color Purple" star Fantasia Barrino during her concert tour. He originated the role of Johnny Roger in Planet Connections’ "Birthday Boy" Off-Broadway and delivered standout performances in regional productions like "Bright Star" (Jimmy Ray) and "Murdered To Death" (Thompkins) at Red Barn Theatre in Indiana, "Songs For a New World" (Man 1) at Grand Center Arts, plus productions of "Godspell" (Jesus), "Shrek" (Shrek), and "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown" (Schroeder). He most recently performed with The Seacoast Repertory Theatre in their 2023 season.

Now, he returns to Fort Salem Theater with his extraordinary one-man show, "Matthew Clemetson: A Love Letter to Broadway" with Fort Salem Theater's Jared West on piano. Brace yourselves for an unforgettable evening as Matthew takes you on a musical journey, featuring songs from his most celebrated performances and hits from iconic productions like "West Side Story," "Miss Saigon," "Anastasia," "Parade," and more.

Featuring guest performances by Courtnie Harrington and Chloe Byars.
All VIP tables include one bottle of wine per couple and a small box of chocolates.
